  • Broadleaf deciduous shrub, about 5-6 ft (1.5-1.8 m) tall with a similar spread, rounded, slow growing.  Foliage is dark green turning to brozy-purple in fall.  Flowers buds are light pink opening to white flowers tinged with pink which fades by full bloom, fragrant; reportedly blooming is relable and heavy.  Mid to late season.
  • Sun to part shade.
  • Flower buds survive - 35°F.  Hardy to USDA Zone 3.
  • A 1984 introduction by the University of Minnesota.  The result of a cross between R. prinophyllum and a white flowered Exbury hybrid.
