- Broadleaf evergreen, mound-shaped, 3 ft (0.9 m) tall in 10 years, dense compact habit, but may become leggy with age. Leaves 6-8 cm long, rounded tip, dull, dark green. Flowers funnel-shaped, slightly wavy edges, 5 cm across, vivid red, edged scarlet red with faint dark red spotting, 5-9 in lax clusters.
