- Broadleaf evergreen shrub, 4-5 ft (1.2-1.5 m), forms a mound, neat, compact, low. Leaves medium size (ca. 7 by 3 cm), roundish, somewhat heart-shaped (cordate), margin turned down, pinkish to purple petioles, new foliage is bronze. Flower buds dark pink, flowers dainty pink, corolla campanulate, usually 6 lobed, 5 cm wide, lack prominent blotch (small one deep in throat), 5 flowers in a loose truss.
