  • Broadleaf evergreen shrub, 5 ft (1.5 m).  Leaves medium to large, narrow.  Flower buds are rose-pink, flowers are orange-pink, orange-red in the throat, in rounded, loose clusters.  The outer portion of the corolla "fades to a biscuit color" (Greer, 1996, p. 114).  There is a Red form of this selection which apparently is less hardy (Greer, 1996).
