  • Broadleaf evergreen, 5 ft (1.5 m) high, compact mounding habit, dark green pointed leaves.  Flowers bright red, funnel shaped, wavy margined, 6 cm across, borne in dome-shaped clusters.  Apparently several forms but very similar.
  • - 10°F, mid-late, 4/4/4 [flower / plant & foliage / performance; scale 1 (poor) - 5 (best)].  Sun to part shade.
