  • 0°F, early (January in Seattle); quality rating: 3-4/3-5/3-5 [flower / plant & foliage / performance; scale 1 (poor) - 5 (best)] .
  • A cross of R. strigillosum × R. sutchuenense, developed by Mary Greig, Royston Nursery, British Columbia, Canada, and introduced by A. R. Cook before 1960.  "The branching is upright and sturdy, a combination of the best of both parents" (Greer, 1996, p.139).
