  • Broadleaf evergreen shrub, 4 ft in 10 years, upright habit.  Leaves rounded, slightly recurved, with yellow-green petioles, red in bright sun.  Flowers pink in the bud and becoming cream-white with red spotting, in open-topped clusters with 4-9 flowers.
  • - 10°F, mid, 4/4/4 [flower / plant & foliage / performance; scale 1 (poor) - 5 (best)].   Likes a fair amount of sun for good blooming but optimal foliage requires filtered sun.
