  • Broadleaf evergreen shrub, 6 ft (1.8 m), vigorous.  Leaves alternate, simple, large, about 18 cm long, dark matte green above, ligher below.  Flowers of "heavy substance", 11 cm wide, pink then white, edged in red-pink on all lobes, without a blotch, compact cluster of 17 flowers.
  • -5°F, mid, flower quality 5/4-5/4-5 [flower / plant & foliage / performance; scale 1 (poor) - 5 (best)]. Sun or moderate shade.
  • The clone is from Halfdan Lem's Walloper group (including 'Pink Wallower [syn. Lem's Monarch] and 'Red Walloper')(Greer, 1996).
