- An older low spreading form, up to 10 ft wide by only 1 ft high (3 m × 30 cm), blue-green color, leaves mostly awl-shaped, appressed, turns plum-purple in fall/winter, a male clone. Possibly more than one clone marketed under this name.
- Hardy to USDA Zone 3 Introduced from Mount Desert Island in Maine in the 1930s.
