  • Conifer, evergreen, tree to 50 ft tall and 25 ft wide (15 m x 8 m), narrow crown, outspreading branches, secondary branches pendulous, Leaves needle-like (awl-shaped) like J. rigida.  Fruit (cones) fleshy, pea-sized, ovoid, dark red-brown to orange.
