Juniperus 'Grey Owl'
Grey Owl Juniper
J. virginiana ‘Grey Owl’
Native to (or naturalized in) Oregon:
- Conifer, evergreen shrub, 6 x 10 ft (2 x 3 m), wide spreading branches. Leaves grey-blue, appressed.
- Sun. Adaptable, tolerates dry soils
- Hardy to USDA Zone 6 Found in a batch of seeds from J. virginiana ‘Glauca’ which was growing next to Pfitzer juniper (J. chinensis ‘Pfitzeriana’), so it is likely a hybrid of the two.
