  • Deciduous tree, 15-20 ft (4.5-6 m), weeping, twiggy, slender whip-like branches, usually grafted about 5-6 ft to an understock.  Flowers double (20-25 petals), pink.
  • Hardy to USDA Zone 6      Since the weeping form of Prunus subhirtella often comes true from seed, many selections have been made, including a white-flower type and several pink, double flowering types.
