  • Broadleaf, deciduous tree, small, 15-20 ft (4.5-6 m) tall with a similar or greater spread.  Leaves green, simple, 5-13 cm long, alternate, margin serrated; shades of red and orange in fall.  Flowers appear in late spring, they are pure white but pink in the bud stage; double, large (20-30 petals), 3-6 blooms per long, hanging cluster.
