  • Broadleaf deciduous shrub, 2-3 ft (0.6-0.9 m) high and 4-5 ft (1.2-1.5 m) wide, compact, mounding.  Leaves alternate, simple, more or less elliptic, 2.5-8 cm long, tip pointed, base wedge-shaped, margin serrated, dark green; petiole about 5 mm long; fall color a fine yellow.  Flowers white, in 2.5-7.5 cm flat topped clusters (umbels).
