Broadleaf, deciduous shrub, upright, outwardly spreading, mounding habit; to 2-3 ft ( m) tall and a similar width. Leaves alternate, simple, elliptical, margin serrated to small toothed, variegated, green, yellow, and cream in summer. The variegation is very clean and stable. The flowers are bright pink and are borne in tight clusters; it blooms for most of the summer.
