- Deciduous tree, growing to 40 ft high and 30 ft wide (~12 m × 10 m), dense branching. Flower buds pure white to a hint of pink, flowers single or semi-double. Fruit about 2.5 cm wide, yellow to dark crimson.
- Sun Resistance to scab, variable to fireblight
- Hardy to USDA Zone 3. A cross between M. baccata and M. prunifolia. Several selections: 'Erecta', Persicifolia', 'Red Sentinel', 'Yellow Siberian'.
