  • Evergreen shrub, upright, reaching about 24 inches (60 cm) high, with very small leaves, green in summer, yellowish in winter.
  • Sun or part shade.  Royal Hort. Soc., Award of Garden Merit 1993
  • Hardy to USDA Zone 8    It is a natural hybrid between Hebe odora and Hebe armstrongii, found in 1988 by Dr Brian Malloy near the Esk River, Canterbury, South Island, New Zealand. Karo is an acronym for 'known and recorded origin' (Hebe Society web site, 2005).
