  • Evergreen conifer, shrub, spreading form, to 3-4 ft tall and 5-6 ft wide (about 1 × 2 m).   Needles dark green.
  • Sun or part shade.  Grow best in fertile, moist soil with good drainage.  Tolerant of either sun or shade.   Resistance to winter burn and tolerant of summer heat.  Used for hedges, screens and foundation plantings.
