  • Broadleaf evergreen shrub, develops into a rounded form with arching branches, in time to about 7 ft tall and 10 ft wide (2.1 × 3.0 m), new leaves are reddish to bronze, maturing to red and dark green, the flowers have many thin bright pink ribbon-like petals, bloom is heaviest in spring but continue for most of the growing season.

  • Part sun to light shade, best in moist, well-drained soil
  • Hardy to UDA Zone 7
