  • Medium to large shrub.  Flowers in dense clusters, fragrant, deep clear-yellow, reddish-green at base, petals 15 mm long.  Fall foliage yellow, orange to reddish.
  • Sun to part shade
  • Hardy to USDA Zone 5    Introduced by Arnold Arboretum in 1963
  • Corvallis: Central Park, in the small "Y-shaped" planting under the flag pole.
