Hamamelis × intermedia 'Diane'
Native to (or naturalized in) Oregon:
- Medium to large shrub, wide spreading branches. Copper-red flowers, petals 17 mm long and 2.3 mm wide. Fall foliage yellow, orange, to red. Reportedly some dead leaves remain attached, reducing the effectiveness of the flowers in spring.
- Sun to part shade
- Hardy to USDA Zone 5
- Oregon State Univ. campus: west of entrance to Shepard Hall.
