  • Broadleaf evergreen shrub, grows to about 5 × 5 ft (1.5 x 1.5 m).  New growth is lime green which changes to bright yellow (gold); foliage becomes greener as the season progresses and nearly lime green and yellow by fall.  Pink-red flowers borne in summer.
  • Part shade.  Tolerates maritime exposure.
  • Hardy to USDA Zone 8
