  • Deciduous shrub, 6-9(12) ft [1.8-2.7(3.7) m] tall, much greater spread, dense, thin branches.   Leaves opposite, simple, ovate to elliptic-ovate, 1-4 cm long, rounded at base, medium green above, gray-green and pubescent below.  Flower cluster 4-7 cm long, twice as wide, pink-red, long flowering period.
  • Sun or part shade.  Needs good drainage.  Heat tolerant and mildew resistant.
