  • Broadleaf deciduous, very narrow tree with upright branches, matures at about a height of 40 ft and 7-10 ft wide (12 × 2-3 m)  Leaves similar to the species; soft reddish rust color in the fall.   A male clone so it does not form seeds or "cotton".

  • Hardy to USDA Zone 2         Introduced to the nursery trade in 1911 in Sweden, but reportedly grown there since 1847.
