  • Broadleaf evergreen, low growing shrub, 2 ft (0.6 m) tall and 10 ft (3 m) wide.  Leaves small, 6-12 mm long, glossy and dark green, undulating surface.  Flowers very dark blue, in short clusters, 2.5-5 cm long, blooms in early summer (May-June).
  • Sun to partial shade.  Needs good drainage.  More heat resistant than C. griseus var. horizontalis
  • Hardy to USDA Zone 7   A natural hybrid of C. foliosos and C. thyrsiflorus var. griseus
