Dasiphora is a genus in the rose family, Rosaceae. The ITIS (Integrated Taxonomic Information System) lists D. fruticosa (Shrubby Cinquefoil) as the singular species in this genus.  Although the Flora of China includes Potentilla bifurca and P. imbricata in this group, these species (which are not shrubs) do not have published combinations in Dasiphora (Wikipedia).

Although Dasiphora fruiticosa is the accepted name for Shrubby Cinquefoil, it is likely the older name, Potentilla fruticosa, will likely continue for some time to be used in the nursery trade.
