  • Deciduous tree/shrub, dwarf, slow growing, 2-10 ft (0.6-3 m) tall, similar width.  Bark becomes corky with age.  Leaves tiny, about 0.6-1 cm long, and rounded.
  • Sun.
  • Hardy to USDA Zone 4       A sport of U. parvifolia 'Hokkaido'; it has larger leaves and faster growing than 'Hokkaido'.  Often used in rock gardens and bonsai.
