Conifer, evergreen, variegated tree, its form is like that of the species but slower growing; annual growth of about 7 inches (18 cm), may reach 6ft tall and 4.5 ft (2 × 1.5 m) in 10 years. The leaves are green, or partly so when interspersed with a creamy white variegation. Reportedly the variegation will revert to green rather readily.
