  • Broadleaf evergreen shrub or small tree, slow growing to 12-15 ft (~3.5-4.5 m) high, distinctive silver-grey foliage and purple pea-like flowers.
  • Sun and light shade, tolerates alkaline soil and intense heat.  The seeds are poisonous, so remove young fruit if children are present to prevent seed development.
  • Hardy to USDA Zone 7
