- Deciduous tree/shrub, thornless, dense, trunkless shrub. However, usually it is grafted to a standard at 6-8 ft (1.8-2.4 m) to produce a tree form, which may grow to 20-30 ft (6-9 m) high with a similar width. Rarely flowers.
