  • Evergreen shrub to 10 ft (3 m) high.  Leaves simple, small, ~11 mm x 4 mm, spiral arrangement, somewhat spreading, elliptic, bright green.  Flowers in a spike ("bottlebrush"), lime green.  Fruit 8 x 10 mm, papery in texture, many enclose the stem.
  • Sun or partial shade, moist well-drained soil, drought tolerant when established.
  • Hardy to USDA Zone 10 (9?)         Native to the coastal districts of southern Western Australia.
