  • Semi-evergreen shrub, 2-3 ft (0.6-0.9 m), erect, compact habit.  Leaves are variegated, having narrow, cream-edged margins.  Flowers 13 mm across, white to light pink, in dense 5 cm terminal cultures.
  • Zone (4) 5       Sun to part shade.   Useful in shrub boarders and foundation plantings.
  • Daphne × burkwoodii is from a cross between D. cneorum and D. caucasica. Mrs. Carolyn Brett (formerly Carol Mackie) discovered the "Carol Mackie mutation" in 1962 in her garden in  Far Hills, New Jersey.  The plant was registered in 1970.
