  • Conifer, evergreen tree, narrow columnar form; grows less than 2 ft per year; may reach 14 ft tall and 1 ft wide (4 × 0.3 m) in 10 years. It is similar in appearance to a well-known selection of the Italian or Mediterranian Cypress and is sometimes labeled as an Cupressus sempervirens ‘Karoonda’.  It may be a good substitute for the Italian Cypress since it is reportedly more cold hardy.
