  • Leaves variegated green, cream white, and pink; fall color reddish-purple.  Showy bracts ("flowers") white, fruit red.
  • Best in partial shade.  Slow growing and somewhat shrubby.
  • Hardy to USDA Zone (5)6   Selected by Mark Welch in about 1920 and introduced in about 1930 by Cole Nursery in Ohio.
