  • Evergreen shrub, upright, rounded, apparently somewhat variable in size, but can reach 5 ft high and wide (1.5 × 1.5 m).  Leaves opposite, simple.  Flowers white, 3-3.5 cm wide, flowers heavily.

  • Hardy to USDA Zone (7) 8    From a cross of C. monspeliensis × C. salviifolius and selected by Jean-Pierre Demoly.
  • Robert G. Page (Cistus & Halimium Website) states that "plants sold under this name are rarely true to name.  The name has long been misapplied to Cistus 'Enigma' (recently named by me) and other hybrids."
