  • Evergreen shrub, to 3 ft (0.9 m) high and wide, rounded.  Leaves opposite, simple, 2.5-5 cm long, gray-green above, lighter below.  Flowers appear in June and are 7.5 cm wide, clear pink, crinkled silky petals, and yellow stamens.
