  • Evergreen shrub, low-growing, wide spreading, to 2-3 ft tall and 4 ft wide (0.6-0.9 × 1.2 m).  Leaves opposite, simple, dark dull green, lanceolate, wavy margin.  Flowers have snowy white petals, each marked with a prominent burgundy blotch at its base.
