- Evergreen conifer, habit similar to the species, shorter and slower growing, branchlets and leaves bright yellow becoming light green. Possibly confused with 'Lutea', the new growth of which has "moderately suffused yellow" with pendulous branchlets (Jacobson, 1996). The two cultivars may be confused in commerce.
