  • Broadleaf evergreen shrub, slow growing, to about 10 ft (3 m) tall (in time twice that), fountain-like shape and arching branches.  Leaves alternate but may appear as 2-ranked, small, about 12 mm long, a good portion of the leaf width edged with a creamy white variegation.  Flowers very small, lack petals, greenish sepals and yellow stamens.  
  • Sun in coastal areas, avoid hot inland locations, needs summer irrigation.
  • Hardy to USDA Zone 8.
