  • Deciduous tree/shrub, 15-25 ft × 8-12 ft wide (4.5-7.5 m × 2.5-3.5 m).  Leaves simple, alternate, dark green, orange-red fall color.  Flowers small, white, appear all along the stems not just at the tips.  Fruit attractive red in early summer, edible.
  • Sun or part shade, best in medium-moist, well-drained soil.
