  • Small tree, dwarf form of Acer palmatum, habit is compact, dense, rounded crown, slow growing, seldom reaches over 4 ft tall.  Leaves small, 5 lobed, margins coarsely toothed, lustrous green at first but changing to a fiery orange in fall.
  • Full sun.  Often used in bonsai
  • Hardy to USDA Zone 5         Found as a chance seedling and introduced by Dave Sharp of Sharp'’s Nursery in Sandy, Oregon in 1985.
