- Spreading, rounded crown; leaves variegated with irregular white margins; female clone and fruit variegated similar to leaves.
- Often suffers from leaf scorch in full sun. May revert to green or albino leaves, must be carefully pruned.
- Hardy to USDA Zone 5, not as hardy as the species. Selected in France in 1845.
