  • Conifer, evergreen, tiny dwarf, forms a dense globe, growing 1-3 inches (2.5-7.6 cm) per year to a mature plant of 2 x 2 ft (60 x 60 cm).  Dark green needles cover the short branches and, in fall, the branch tips display prominent brown buds for seasonal interest.

  • Sun to partial shade  Best planted in partial shade in moist, well-drained soil.
  • Hardy to USDA Zone 3     A mutation found at the Edwin Carstens Nursery in Varel, Germany
