- Broadleaf deciduous shrub, to 8ft (2.4 m) high, with an arching habit. Flowers fully double with an orange-like fragrance.
- Sun to part shade, understory plant, thrives in almost any garden soil, prune after flowering.
- Hardy to USDA Zone 4 This particular selection was discovered in the 1970s by Ray Collett, the founding director of the UC Santa Cruz Arboretum, near the Smith River in the extreme northwest corner of California. It was introduced into the nursery trade as ‘Goose Creek'.
