  • Broadleaf evergreen shrub, compact, dense, 3 ft (~1 m) tall in 10 years.  Leaves about 10 cm long, elliptic, dark green, with tan, wooly indumentum underneath.  Flowers about 5 cm across, rose-pink fading to white in the throat in which there is light green spotting.
  • - 15°F, mid-late; quality rating: 4-5/4 [flower / plant & foliage; scale 1 (poor) - 5 (best)].
  • From a cross of R. 'Mars' × R. yakushimanum  'Koichiro Wada'
  • Partial shade.  Rhododendrons generally prefer well-drained, high organic matter, acid soils.
  • Hardy to USDA Zone 6
