  • Evergreen shrub, dwarf, spreading mound, similar in general appearance to the species but bluer, grows about 15 cm a year.  Leaves blue, but new growth in spring pink or red.
  • Sun or light shade  The species, and presumably its selections, is considered one of the most suitable podocarpus for colder regions.
  • Hardy to USDA Zone 7     Species native to southwest Australia, Tasmania.
