  • Conifer, evergreen, slow to moderate growth rate, about 10 ft (3 m) high in 10 years, 20 ft (6 m) at maturity.   Tips of new growth whitish, later yellowish and finally green.
  • Sun.  Prefers well-drained and somewhat dry soil.  
  • Hardy to USDA Zone 6     Observed in Castlewellan, North Ireland before 1899.
