  • Broadleaf deciduous tree, released as a dwarf, but more likely a semi-dwarf, 10 ft (~3 m) or more high, dense, twigy canopy.  Similar to 'Bloodgood', but it is denser.  Leaves have typical A. palmatum leaf shape, dark red-purple, and reportedly holds this color into the middle of summer; red fall color.
